\u201c<\/strong>I accompany you\/myself\u201d is <\/strong>a performative encounter between two artists \u2013 Kasia Kania and Niki Kimata \u2013 in which choreography becomes a space for care, mindfulness, and community. The artists, working at the intersection of dance, performance, and experimental choreography, will invite the audience to experience practices of accompaniment and embody relational forms of care \u2013 towards others and towards oneself. As part of the festival, they will address themes of hybrid identity, emotional and caring work, confronting two bodies \u2013 with different skin colors, experiences, and family histories. Their goal is to explore what can become shared and what remains separate, and what gestures and practices allow us to accompany each other in the process of recognizing our own identity. Kasia Kania<\/strong> \u2013 choreographer and performer, exploring choreography as a tool for building relationships and opening up to diverse perspectives on being in the world.<\/p>\n\n Nika Kimaty<\/strong> \u2013 an actress and performer, graduate of AST and the Experimental Choreography Course, in her practice she explores the themes of identity, otherness, and belonging.<\/p>\n\n Curatorial care: Sonia Nie\u015bpia\u0142owska<\/strong> i Katarzyna S\u0142oboda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n The event is aimed at adults and older teenagers (16+) who are interested in contemporary performing arts, as well as cultural, feminist, and queer identity issues. It is an offer for everyone who wants to see how art can become a space for empathy, closeness, and shared responsibility. <\/p>\n\n The post-residency show is a unique opportunity to see how two different perspectives\u2014two bodies, stories, experiences\u2014meet in a choreographic dialogue. The artists address important questions about identity, relationships, care, and coexistence, as well as the political dimension of accompanying another person. This event is moving and confrontational, but it also opens up new ways of thinking about art and relationships in a world full of diversity. <\/p>\n\n The Dialogue Center building is accessible for people with mobility impairments. It features wide, non-automatic entrance doors without thresholds and an accessible restroom. There is a large parking lot in front of the building, with designated parking spaces for people with disabilities. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are welcome inside the building and auditorium.
